About Me

My photo
Jamie Haggo
I've been modelling for as long as I remember, ever since my first kit, an Airfix Harrier Gr 3, the brand new tooling I have recently just completed! My main interest is in aircraft, mainly WW2 as this opens up many and often extreme weathering possibilities however jets are slowly creeping in as if you know where to look, there are some really filthy examples. Lately however I have been trying out armour models, I got hold of a couple of Mig Jimenez' DVDs and thought wow, I must have a go at that. I've also got a ship model on order, a 1:350 Type 23 Duke class frigate, I'm going to do her as HMS Somerset as I served in her as Flight Commander. I started this blog to share my passion for modelling and weathering. If anyone has any comments or suggestions please don't hesitate to get in touch.
